Scholarship & Child Protection Program
Provision of scholarships, school materials, and psychosocial support for children from vulnerable and displaced families, ensuring consistent school attendance and safe learning conditions.
Many children in Cabo Delgado face barriers to education due to poverty, displacement, insecurity, and family instability. This project provides targeted scholarships to cover school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and transportation costs for vulnerable children.
In addition to financial support, the project integrates child protection mechanisms within the school system. This includes psychosocial counseling, referral pathways for children facing abuse or trauma, and the establishment of safe reporting channels. Parent engagement sessions and community outreach will further strengthen child protection awareness.
Through this comprehensive approach, the program ensures that vulnerable children not only enroll in school but remain in a safe, supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically and emotionally.
